Additional Testimonials
"The program is really good. It's very entertaining. Especially when they ask us to come up and interact with other students. You guys were amazing. A 10 out of 10." Student, Nautilus Middle School, Miami Beach, FL
"Thank you for speaking to our youth about pressing issues in their lives. The conversation on bullying and violence that you started continued the rest of the week and brought our youth the opportunity to discuss and process their experiences in a healthy and supportive way." Virginia Gary, MSW, Senior Program Coordinator, Office of Housing & Community Services, Miami Beach, FL, March 2019

“Today we had YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. come in and present to our 6th, 7th and 8th-grade classes. The students seemed to enjoy it. They especially connected to the real-life celebrities that were in many of the videos. Their comments were that gun violence is wrong. That guns are not necessary and that they need to find other ways to handle their problems.”
“I thought the kids were focused. I thought they enjoyed it. And I look forward to YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. can come back to our school because there is a lot of information that kids can learn from.”
Mrs. Bartholomew, Guidance Counselor, Thurgood Marshall Academy, Harlem, New York City, December 13, 2016

"YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. has been successfully implementing their Violence and Bullying Prevention Program in our middle and high school Health Education classes in Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) for the past two academic years (2014-2016)."
"I serve JCPS in the Curriculum Management Department. In my role with Health Education, I have observed their presentations and concur with the teachers and students on their "two thumbs up" approval. The students appreciate the face paced, media approach that respects them personally and accurately addresses the real life issues they confront daily."
Donna Benton, Practical Living Specialist, Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), Louisville, KY June 2016
